July sales of condominiums and town homes in zip codes 23185, 23188 and 23168 were more numerous in the $200,000 to $250,000 range than other price ranges above and below. Fourteen sales were reported by the Williamsburg MLS (WMLS) for July compared to ten at $150,000 - $200,000 and five sold between $250,000 - $300,000. A total of eight condos or town homes were sold at prices above $300,000 during July according to WMLS statistics.

New condominiums and town homes priced above $250,000 and expected to be completed August through December of this year and offering features that are in high demand are expected to be well received by the market. We may see an upward shift in the dominate price range for condominiums and town homes as these new homes are purchased.
