The volume of sales of single family detached homes in zip codes 23185, 23188 and 23168 continued to rise March through June of this year while median priced dipped from $375,000 in March to $347,000 in June. April's median price was $368,500. May saw a median price of $372,500. The median days on market decreased from sixty-seven in March to twenty-nine in June.Total volume of sales of 159 single family detached homes in the above zip codes in June was $62,267,917. The most active price sector, year to date, was homes priced in the $300,000 to $350,000 range in which 119 homes sold. The second in number of homes sold was $250,000 - $300,000 with 103 sale. Ninety-one homes in the $350,000 - $400,000 range sold year to date. As would be expected, the number of sales decreased as prices increased above $350,000.
